About Blake MacDonald

A right-handed specialist batsman, Blake MacDonald is an Australian domestic cricketer who is making a name for himself for his strong power-hitting and elegant shot-making.

Blake is from Canberra, where he got recruited to play for NSW in the Sheffield Shield in 2023. He had few notable innings when given his chance to play, until he moved and got signed to Victoria. He produced scores early for VIC including his maiden first class hundred in the second innings against Western Australia, finishing on 109* after scoring 79 in the first innings. He got signed by the Melbourne Stars in 2024 as a local replacement player but never debuted. He got signed by the Stars again in BBL|15 where he shined on debut scoring a quickfire 37* off 12 balls to end the Stars innings.

Career Highlight: With New South Wales struggling to Western Australia's chase 222 in a rain affected match in 2023, a young Blake MacDonald on List A debut remained unbreakable. His 81 off 93 steered his team home before being dismissed just before his team finished the job and got over the line.
